Authorities in Cyprus have detained a shipment of laboratory equipment from a prominent Canadian-German distributor. The consignment, valued at $2.5 million, arrived in Cyprus on Dec18th, 2024, after being dispatched on Aug 30th, 2024.

Customs officials are requesting validated copies of essential documents, including the commercial invoice, bill of lading, and certificate of origin. Additionally, Mr. Karl Andersson, identified as the exporter, has been asked to appear for further questioning before Dec 22nd to clarify details regarding the shipment.
